Banipur Mahila Mahavidyalaya (BMM), was established in 1999, Banipur is an affiliated College. The college is affiliated to the Calcutta University.

The college was established to promote higher education in this area. The college is providing the needs of higher and quality education of the local people.

The college library remains open during the colloege hours on all weedays and the students can borrow books from the library on production of library cards which are issued to them after their admission. The college authorities are planned to expand and develop the library to facilitate accessibility of books facilities to the students.
