Marathwada Shikshan Prasarak Mandal’s Balbhim Arts, Science & Commerce College, Beed was popularly known as Balbhim Arts, Science & Commerce College, Beed was established on 15th June 1960 managed by Marathwada Shikshan Prasarak Mandal.

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.
 
It is affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) on 15th June 1983 & 12(B) on 14th August 2000 under Act, 1956. 

It is re-accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "A+" Grade (CGPA Score 3.51 on a 4 Point Scale in 3rd Cycle) on 23rd January 2017.

The college created resources and utilized them for educational liberalization of common people,  promoting intellectual, ethical and cultural development of society. 

The college conferred the status of grant-in-aid college that the fees and all the facilities for the students are fixed by the government. The student's admission is done as per the Admission Criteria prescribed by the affiliating university.

It is the first and only college in the district to be awarded the status of "College with Potential for Excellence (CPE)” by University Grants Commission, New Delhi on 19th March 2010 and having ISO certification 9001-2008.

The college offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, Ph.D., and certificate programs for the students. The college has a fine team of qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty and staff members.

A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to students in its various departments. The college has well equipped, airy and spacious class rooms with all modern facilities.
