Bagchi-jamsherpur Namita-Sankar B Ed College ( BJNSBEC), Nadia was established with the sole objective of providing education & training to a large number of intending students/trainees of backward families in and around the remote villages.

The college is located in the country side of Krishnanagar, Nadia District. The college is affiliated to University of Kalyani, West Bengal and approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

The Educational Trust, which runs the college, provides well experienced and expert faculty members for the development of the students.

The college stands among the renowned colleges that impart one year B.Ed programme in West Bengal.

It is conveniently located and the excellent infrastructure of the campus generates an ideal ambiance for studies.

Shri Sankar Sarkar and Smt. Namita Sarkar felt the neccessity to establish a B.Ed College in this remote area to facilitate and inspire the backward class students, as well as other class students in achieving the goal of "Higher Education". So here we have together established "Bagchi Jamsherpur Namita Sankar B.Ed College" with the land and financial support provided by our Donor Members, Shri Sankar Sarkar and Smt. Namita Sarkar with the motto of providing "Best Education for All". Our journey began since 2009 and we are hopeful to continue in far most future.

From its inception the library has developed as a separate and indispensable unit for B.ED and D.EL.ED Department. Till date B.ED Library has 4069 books and D.EL.ED Library has 2971 books. It subscribes to 25 educational journals, 12 Encyclopedia.

Library student enjoy the facility of Lending Service from Monday to Friday. They can keep the books with them for seven (7) days. The library provides open access facility in reading room.

Besides this, the user (student and staff) can avail of photocopy services.

Along with Teaching Methodology and Teaching Ethics we are trying to make them a sociality responsible citizen. Further, the college will be involved in preparing teachers who provides leadership, exemplary educational and related services to improve the lives in a changing and complex global society. It endeavors to provide trainees with interdisciplinary knowledge, problem solving skills and confidence required to excel in their profession and develop a consciousness of our cultural and national heritage as well as an understanding of international perspectives.
