Badruka College of Commerce, Hyderabad was established in 1950.
The college is managed under Seth Ghasiram Gopikishan Badruka Educational Society by Late Raja Bankatlal Badrukaji. Badruka College of Commerce is among the premier institutions of their field in Andhra Pradesh.
BCC intends to impart in-depth knowledge through conventional and innovative methods of teaching. National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) have reaccredited the college with 'B' grade. Badruka College of Commerce is the first private college of commerce which has got the affiliation from Osmania University.
In the year 1950, a proposal for establishing a Commerce college in Hindi medium was mooted by Raja Bankatlal Badruka and Sri Pannalal Pittie. Nawab Ali Yawar Jung Bahadurji, the then Vice-Chancellor of Osmania University appreciated the initiative and suggested that a college be started in English or Urdu medium with an endowment fund of Rs. 2.5 lakhs. Raja Bankatlalji, true to his character, spontaneously donated the amount and obtained the approval to start a college with Intermediate Section in English medium. The first exclusive institution for students of commerce came into existence on 2nd August 1950 and was inaugurated by the renowned celebrity Sri M. K. Vellodi, ICS, the then Chancellor of Osmania University.
BCC boasts of providing modern facilities in order to have smooth conduct of the program. The college has been rated 8th among the top ten colleges in the Country and first in the State of Andhra Pradesh by India Today survey.
The College has been in the forefront of commerce education and has been bagging the top university ranks.
