Baba Zorawar Singh Fateh Singh Khalsa Girls College, Morinda (Dist. Rupnagar) was established in 1971 founded by the Sant Surjan Singh Ji.
It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.
The college is affiliated with Punjabi University, Patiala and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956.
It is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "B" Grade (CGPA Score 2.07 on a 4 Point Scale in 1st Cycle) on 17th March 2016.
The college aim is to maintain international standards of infrastructure and equipment to facilitate true learning and developed the college as per international standards of education.
It is a woman self-financed private college, providing a regular course which is located in a rural part of a Rupnagar played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.
The college has receives many awards and prizes annually recognize in the field of the excellent performers in Sports, Culture, and Academics. Every year students are honored for their outstanding performance in Sports, Culture, and Academics.
The college offers three years undergraduate courses in Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), and Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) streams with various specializations under Punjabi University, Patiala.
The college has now emerged as a major center of study offering instructions in Arts and Commerce.

- A special complaint cell (Sexual Harassment Cell) has been formed for the female students in the college. Students can directly complain orally or by written application to the head of the cell. Apart from this, Ragging is strictly prohibited on the college campus
