B.Y.K. College of Commerce (BYKCC), Nashik was established in 1957. It is affiliated to Pune University.

B.Y.K. (Sinnar) College of Commerce was established by the Gokhale Education Society in the year 1957 to impart education in Commerce. B.Y.K. (Sinnar) College of Commerce is one of the leading colleges affiliated to the University of Pune. It is recognized by the University Grants Commission under Section 2f and 12(B) of the UGC Act. The College is under the aegis of Gokhale Education Society, Nashik. The college is situated at Nashik and spread in an area of 12 acres. Under the dynamic leadership of Sir Dr. M.S. Gosavi as a Principal of College from June 1958 and as the Secretary of G.E. Society till date, the college has set up a role model in commerce education. It is the only college running Restructured Programme having 4000 students enrolled at the UG & PG level.

The College was given NAAC accredited A Grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in the year 2003-2004. 

The College is also ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System Certified College. The College provides facilities for teaching Advanced Cost Accounting, Advanced Accounting, Auditing, and Business Administration as special subjects at M.Com level.

By offering facilities for higher education in Commerce and Management Science, the College has fulfilled the long-felt need for such education in North Maharashtra. The College has acquired reputation of their own in the field of higher education in Commerce and Management.

Gokhale Education Society started in 1918 by late Prin.T.A. Kulkarni, is one of the oldest and pioneering educational institutions in Maharashtra.

The Society is established with the main objectives of developing quality citizens through education and training and to raise and also give the dignity to teaching profession. The Society has all along emphasized the holistic approach and total personality development of student  through educational programmes.
