B.R.M. College of Education, Karnal was established in 2007 under the management of BRM Educational Society.

It is one of the premier institutions to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

The college is at present affiliated with Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University, Jind formerly affiliated with Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra and accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "B" Grade - (CGPA Score 2.54 on a 4 Point Scale) on 8th January 2011.

It recognized and approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Jaipur to Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) & Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) courses.

The college began to function with the first batch of B.Ed. students admitted for the session 2007-08. This was a major achievement was the results were recorded in the first and second batch of B.Ed. students with 93.81% and 94.97% ages in each session.

The peaceful environment of the college/institute provides a homogeneous atmosphere for teaching and learning. The institute has a campus of 3 acres with well-equipped required facilities for students and the staff members.

The institute offers one year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course for those who have completed their graduation with minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their graduation from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the Degree level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.

The college also offers two years Diploma in Education (D.Ed) under affiliating to State Council Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Gurgaon.
