Aurangabad B Ed Training College, Murshidabad was established in 2006. The college offers one-year Bachelor of Education course.

For the development of the society, Aurangabad B.Ed Training College is run by a Trust, to help people take part in the contribution of national development.

The supreme motto of spreading education is to reconstruct the national life and bring out its regeneration.

The college is affiliated to University of Kalyani, West Bengal and approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The college is associated with dedicated teachers, to ensure the overall development of its students. It is equipped with all the basic amenities in its campus. 

Keeping in minds the urgent needs of trained teachers in secondary and higher secondary school in West Bengal, Aurangabad B.Ed Training College has been established by the society i.e. Aurangabad Shanty Human Development As-association. The primary objective of this college is to create ideal teachers for the society and to develop the standard and technique of teaching in secondary and higher secondary schools throughout the State.

The College has been recognized by NCTE and affiliated to the University of Kalyani. The college has started its function from 2007.

The college possesses best academic performance and well disciplined attitude among its student since the beginning. Most of the former students of this institution are engaged and well equipped in their teaching profession. Keeping in mind the excess demand of the primary education in the locality, the management of this institution thought for the establishment of an additional primary teachers’ training institute in the campus of existing Aurangabad B.Ed. Training College.

A new well furnished three storied building with adequate infrastructure adjacent to the existing college building has been constructed as per the norms and standards of NCTE. The elementary section of the institution is named as “Aurangabad B.Ed.
