About Arts College, Vadali

Arts College, Vadali was established in 1995 under the management of Vadali Kelavani Mandal established in 1953 with its mission to work for the development and progress in the academic sphere from primary to higher education and spread knowledge in Vadali and its surrounding and interior areas.

It is one of the premier institutions to impart & provide a platform in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

The college is affiliated to Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan and recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) 1955 & 12(B) in under Act, 1956. It is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

Vadali is situated in Sabarkantha district which is a backward district. Most of the population of Vadali and surrounding areas come under educationally, socially or economically backward. The educationalist and intellectuals of the area decided to establish a higher educational institute in Vadali. The Vadali Kelavni Mandal also wanted to encourage education for boys and girls.

So with the aim of imparting higher education and quality education, they started Arts college, Vadali, in the year 1995 was established. Arts College, Vadali is a young college, situated in the rural area. The college offers a course of B.A. with three main subjects – Gujarati, Sanskrit, and History; and at M. A. level offers subjects like Gujarati and History.

The institution works with specific vision and mission to provide higher education to the youth of rural and surrounding areas and try to make overall development by educational and co-curricular activities. The educational environment of the institution attracts the students for B.A. course. Even the numbers of women students are increasing day by day.

The entire staff vigorously endeavors to inculcate basic virtues like sincerity, discipline, devotion, truthfulness, determination, and patriotic feelings among the learners.

They must learn the importance of social equality and tolerance.

The college has separate individual departments for all subjects with young, dynamic faculty and non-teaching staff and with good results.
The college has the most eminent Faculty members and they are really well qualified, experienced and truly committed towards enhancement and development of the students.

The college has well-equipped with modern facilities like library, laboratory, classrooms, computer lab, multipurpose halls & playground etc.
A sufficient number of classrooms with varying sizes are made available for the smooth conduct of different classes in the college.
The college has a library with a good number of books (both text and reference) on various subjects to meet the needs of the students as well as the teachers with reading room facility. Daily Newspapers and selected journals are also regularly subscribed.
State of the Art Laboratories with sufficient space and all the necessary equipment are made available to various departments.
The college has established an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) to assure the quality of the college
Internet facilities may be availed by the students and teachers as per their needs.
State Government and the Central Government offers a number of scholarships to the meritorious students and the students belonging to SC / ST / OBC
A special complaint cell (Sexual Harassment Cell) has been formed for the female students in the college. Students can directly complain orally or by written application to the head of the cell. Apart from this, Ragging is strictly prohibited on the college campus.
For every course, the college imparts practical training to its students that helps them to understand better, improve their demonstrative skills, eliminate hesitation and in this process strives to mold them into industry ready professionals.
The college also provides NCC training to its students. The NCC cadets attend different camps and earn pride for themselves and for the college.
