About Arts College of Limkheda

Arts College of Limkheda, Dahod was established on 15th August 1991 and promoted by Limkheda Vibhag Yuvak Education Society, Limkheda. It is one of the premier institutions to impart & provide a platform in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

The college is affiliated to Gujarat University, Ahmedabad and recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) in on 30th July 1998 under Act, 1956.

Limkheda is one of the Tehsil places among the 7 Tehsil places of Dahod district. Limkheda Tehsil is better known as the Tribal Area. Limkheda town is located on the national highway no. 59 i.e. Ahmedabad- Indore highway.

Limkheda is situated between Godhra & Dahod. It is 40 and 30 km. away from Godhra and Dahod respectively. Limkheda is also well connected by Main Broad Gauge railway line from National Capital New Delhi to Economic Capital Mumbai, which passes through Limkheda.

The campus area of the college is 3.75 Acers, the college offers undergraduate degree courses where Gujarati and Hindi are the principal subjects allotted by the State Government, Sanskrit and History are the subsidiary subjects and Sanskrit and English are 2 compulsory subjects.

The college has a library with a good number of books (both text and reference) on various subjects to meet the needs of the students as well as the teachers with reading room facility. Daily Newspapers and selected journals are also regularly subscribed.
State of the Art Laboratories with sufficient space and all the necessary equipment are made available to various departments.
The college has taken up the responsibility of imparting necessary, effective and practical education to the students so that they can reach great heights and attain maximum achievements in their life
The college has established an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) to assure the quality of the college
Internet facilities may be availed by the students and teachers as per their needs.
State Government and the Central Government offers a number of scholarships to the meritorious students and the students belonging to SC / ST / OBC
A special complaint cell (Sexual Harassment Cell) has been formed for the female students in the college. Students can directly complain orally or by written application to the head of the cell. Apart from this, Ragging is strictly prohibited on the college campus.
The institute provides the training facility like- face to face interview, resume making, communication skills, that help the students to face the campus recruitment.
For every course, the college imparts practical training to its students that helps them to understand better, improve their demonstrative skills, eliminate hesitation and in this process strives to mold them into industry ready professionals.
The college also provides NCC training to its students. The NCC cadets attend different camps and earn pride for themselves and for the college.
