Army Centre of Education, Pachmarhi was established at AEC Training College & Centre for the dependents of Army personnel.

ACE functions under the aegis of Army Welfare Education Society (AWES), which runs more than 120 schools and 12 professional institutes throughout the country, including an Engineering College, a Dental College, two Management Institutes, an Institute of Law and an Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology.

The ACE is fully residential, affiliated to Barkatullah University, Bhopal and recognised by National Council for Teachers Education (NCTE), Delhi.

The College offers Bachelor of Education course for those who have passed graduation with minimum aggregate of 45 % from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Admissions are made on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying exam and as per norms prescribed by the University.
