Arasan Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (AIHMCT), Trichy was established in 2002.

It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

The aim of the college is to train students for the hospitality industry and pave the way for a successful career for the students, thereby creating lot of employment opportunities for the students, within the country as well as abroad.

The college offers Diploma in Hotel Management & Catering Technology 1 year course.

A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to the students in various departments of the college.
