Annamacharya College of Education, Kadapa was established in 2003, to cater the needs of Teachers in Primary, Secondary Education Schools of the State.

The  college is managed under Annamacharya Educational Trust.

The college is affiliated to Yogivemana University, Kadapa.

Annamacharya College of Education Kadapa is approved by the National Council For Teacher Education (NCTE) from 2003, 2006 and 2005 for the undergraduate, post graduate and diploma courses, respectively.

The college functions with the aim of educating students from the local and rural areas.
