Annai Veilankannis College of Education, Chengalpattu was established in 2008 managed under the management of Annai Veilankannis Educational and Cultural Trust.

The College was set up with an objective of developing secondary level teaching professionals in the region.

The College is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, the college has found approval from the N.C.T.E (National Council for Teacher Education).

Annai Veilankannis College of Education has equipped itself with all the necessary infrastructural facilities in their campus.
