Annai Mathammal Sheela Engineering College has been established and run by Mathammal Sheela Trust. Tharamangalam, Salem district with a view to serve the rural area.

The objective of starting the institution is to supplement Government's efforts to provide professional education to the needy students on non-commerical basis.

This is a Christian Minority Institution to serve the poor students.

The College, having about hundred acres of land is located at Erumapatty which is about 15 Kms from Namakkal town, the headquarters of Namakkal District.
