Amrutha College of Education, Prakasam is a unit institute of the Amrutha Social Educational Development Society, a registered non-profit making body that was established in 2007.

Amrutha College of Education is affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna  University and is recognized by Government of Andhra Pradesh.

The institute is also approved by the National Council for Teacher Education or NCTE for undergraduate Bachelor of Education course.

The college is providing state-of-the-art facilities to its students.

Applicants who have passed graduation with minimum aggregate of 45 % from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course. Admission is done on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in Andhra Ed CET.

Counseling is conducted for the short-listed candidates, which determines the final selection of the applicants.
