Amrita School of Engineering, Bangalore was established in 2002 and is a part of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.

With the guidance of our beloved Chancellor Amma, the first Amrita School of Engineering was started in 1994 in Coimbatore. In 2002, two additional Schools of Engineering were established in Amritapuri and Bengaluru. All three Schools offer B.Tech., M.Tech. and Ph.D. programs in a large number of disciplines. Outstanding students aspiring for careers in engineering, from across the country and abroad are enrolled in the three Schools. ASE has an excellent faculty student ratio which is well above the national norms. Faculty members have so far published books on various topics in Engineering released research article in highly reputed national.

The college is approved by AICTE and affiliated to the Visveswaraiah Technological University. The college is also accredited by NAAC with A grade. The curriculum at the college is framed with extensive industry input & all the programs are credit-based.

The Amrita School of Engineering, Bengaluru offers B. Tech. programs in five disciplines and M. Tech. programs in six disciplines.
