Amarnath College of Education, Karaikal was established in 2006 managed under RVS Group of Educational Institutions.

RVS Educational Trust is doing yeoman service in the fields of Education, Health care, Agriculture and Rural development for the past 25 years.

Having their Head Quarters at Sulur Coimbatore, the trust is running around 65 institutions spreading all over Tamilnadu and Pondicherry like Coimbatore, Dindigal, Tanjore, Thirunelveli, Thenkasi, Chennai and Karaikal.

Amarnath College of Education started functioning with the intake of 100 students with the approval of NCTE and provisional affiliation from the Pondicherry University.
