Alva’s Ayurveda Medical College, Moodabidr was established in 1996.

The institution is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health sciences, Karnataka, Bangalore and approved by Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi. The college has been managed by Alva’s Education Foundation.

This 13 years journey is a saga in providing the need of standard medical education in Indian system of Medicine attracting the students from different parts of India and abroad. Initially the strength of students was 60, which in successive years increased and today every year 100 students take admission to a 4 ½ years bachelor medicine and surgery (B.A.M.S) course..
