Al-Kabir D.Ed. College, Mysore was established in 2004.

The College is managed under Al-Kabir Educational Society.

AL-Kabir Teacher Training Institute aims to produce well trained teachers with the instruction from National council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Directorate State Education and Research Training (DSERT), Bangalore and District Institute of Educational Training (DIET), Mysore.

Al-Kabir Education Society was established in 1982 and founded by Smt Fahmida Begam. Al-Kabir D.Ed. College intends to give quality education to the poor and the middle class students.
