Aerospace Engineering & Research Organization (AERO), Pune was established in 2008 under the aegis of P S D Shastri Educational Foundation to promote education, training, research, development, collaboration with industry in all fields of aviation in India and abroad.

• AERO is a part of the well known Shastri group of Institutes Pune, which has been in the forefront of aviation training since 2001.
• The present B Tech program in Aerospace Engineering in association with IGNOU is one such major initiative.
