Adv. Sitaram (Babanbhau) Anandramji Baheti Arts, Commerce and Science College, Jalgaon was established in 1983 and managed by Krida Rasik Education Society (R), which was established on 1st August 1965.
It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone on the part of progress.
The college is affiliated with North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) in March 2003 under Act, 1956.
It is re-accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "B" Grade (in 2nd Cycle) on 5th May 2014.
The main objective of the college is to enhance the educational, mental, physical and intellectual development of the students as well as to make them socially aware and competent.
It is a co-educational private Institute, provided a regular course in which is located in the urban part of Jalgaon played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.
The college had received many awards and accolades at a city, state and national level for their educational advancements also received the numbers of achievements awards in the field of sports and curricular activities under North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon.
The college offers two years intermediate courses in Arts and Commerce streams with various specializations under Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education, Pune.
The college also offers three years undergraduate courses in Arts and Commerce streams with various specializations under North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon. It also offers Postgraduate Diploma courses.
Students should have to choose one honor (core) subject with two or more as subsidiary (elective) subjects for the specific undergraduate streams.
University examinations of different courses, examinations conducted by North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon, and various other examinations are held in the college premises.

- The college has a significant presence in the field of research. A number of major & minor research projects are awarded to the faculty members by the UGC and other bodies
- The college has established an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) to assure the quality of the college and also details regarding submission of Annual Quality Assurance Reports (AQAR) to NAAC annually
- The college has a large playground with well-equipment for different sports like Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Hockey, Badminton and so on
- A medical facility has been available in the college for the benefit of the students
- State Government and Central Government offers a number of scholarships to the meritorious students and the students belonging to SC / ST / OBC
- The institution has provided ICT facilities like computers, projectors, audio-visual gadgets, scanners and printers to the departments and also other aids and a huge number of availability of books for effective delivery of curriculum and for inculcating the knowledge of the subject
- A special complaint cell (Sexual Harassment Cell) has been formed for the female students in the college. Students can directly complain orally or by written application to the head of the cell. Apart from this, Ragging is strictly prohibited on the college campus
- To sharpen the skill of students and their personality development, various curricular and extra-curricular activities are the regular features of the institution
- The college also provides NCC training to its students. The NCC cadets attend different camps and earn pride for themselves and for the college
- The college Unit NSS Wing performs different type of social services within and outside of the area
- The college also organizes workshops, seminars, and conferences for improving teaching skills and methodology
