About Adarsh Subhash Tayal College of Education
Adarsh Subhash Tayal College of Education, Hansi (Hissar Dist.) was established in September 2008.
It is one of the premier educational organization dedicated to importing quality education and promoting excellence in academic pursuits in the field of Teaching.
The college is at present affiliated with Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University, Jind formerly affiliated with Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra and recognized & approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Jaipur and recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) under sections 2(f) and 2(B) of the UGC Act, 1956.
The college is recognized and approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Jaipur to offer Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) courses and it is re-accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "B+" Grade - (CGPA Score 2.54 on a 4 Point Scale in 1st Cycle) on 22nd February 2017.
The institute offers two years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course for those who have completed their graduation with minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.
Students here are admitted who completed their graduation from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the Degree level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.
Various teaching and learning techniques are being used by the faculty to impart knowledge and skills to students at Adarsh Subhash Tayal College of Education, Hansi in its various departments.

- The college has separate individual departments for all subjects with young, dynamic faculty and non-teaching staff and with good results
- The college has the most eminent Faculty members and they are really well qualified, experienced and truly committed towards enhancement and development of the students
- The college has a library with a good number of books (both text and reference) on various subjects to meet the needs of the students as well as the teachers with reading room facility. Daily Newspapers and selected journals are also regularly subscribed
- The college has a book bank for helping the poor and backward class students
- State of the Art Laboratories with sufficient space and all the necessary equipment are made available to various departments
- The college has taken up the responsibility of imparting necessary, effective and practical education to the students so that they can reach great heights and attain maximum achievements in their life
- The college has established an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in 2011 to assure the quality of the college and also details regarding submission of Annual Quality Assurance Reports (AQAR) to NAAC annually
- The college runs a canteen inside the campus where staff and students can have meals and snacks prepared in a hygienic manner and at an affordable cost
- Internet & Wi-Fi facilities may be availed by the students and teachers as per their needs
- The college has a large playground with will-equipment for different sports like Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Hockey, Badminton and so on
- The college has a medical room with all facilities under the care of a full-time nurse and a qualified medical officer
- State Government and Central Government offers a number of scholarships to the meritorious students and the students belonging to SC / ST / OBC
- A special complaint cell (Sexual Harassment Cell) has been formed for the female students in the college. Students can directly complain orally or by written application to the head of the cell. Apart from this, Ragging is strictly prohibited on the college campus
