Acharya NG Ranga College of Education, Guntur is managed by Sri Rama Rural Kalasala, Gurukulam, which was established in 1949 by Sri Late Kolasani Venkata Subbaiah Choudary at Chilimuru, with an intention to provide education to the rural masses of this region.

The academy was run under the control of Sri Kolasani Major Madhusudhan Rao for a long period.

Sri Acharya N.G. Ranga College of Education was established by the academic (Recognised by NCTE and Govt. of A.P.) in 2002-2003.
