AR Engineering college, Villupuram was established in 2008. The college is affiliated with Anna University of Technology, Chennai.

The college has grown considerably under the dynamic leadership of its Vice Chairman Sri.M.Kuberan and Principal Dr.V.Arumugham, spear heading all academic and non academic activities.The college provides various courses in multiple disciplines.
