The college is a private self-financing Engineering college approved by AICTE of New Delhi and is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai.
ARCET started with four branches of Engineering UG courses namely Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering during the academic year 2009.
