SSC Recruitment 2018: Last Date Extended To Apply Online For Over 1000 Vacancies

SSC has released a recruitment notification for more than 1000 vacancies in ''Selection Posts (Phase-VI).'' The last date to apply online is September 30, 2018.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released a recruitment notification for the ''Selection Posts (Phase-VI).'' The notification was released for more than 1000 vacancies under 130 different post categories. The vacancies will be filled in nine regions.

Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the written examination. The selected candidates will earn up to INR 34,800 per month. Interested candidates who satisfy all the eligibility criteria can apply online for the posts until September 30, 2018. Due to complaints regarding technical issues, the Commission has decided to extend the last date for submitting the application forms. The last date to apply online is October 12, 2018.

Age Limit

The age varies from one post to another. The minimum age limit for most of the posts is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 30 years. However, age relaxation is provided to the candidates as per applicable rules.

Selection Process

There will be three separate computer-based examinations consisting of objective multiple-choice questions for posts where the minimum educational qualification required is matriculation, higher secondary, graduation & above levels.

The subjects in the written exam are general intelligence, general awareness, quantitative aptitude and English language. There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.

Application Fee

Unreserved candidates have to pay INR 100 as application fee. However, candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category along with all females are exempted from the fee payment.
