The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) has released the PFRDA Grade A Notification 2026 for the recruitment of Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) posts. The official notification was issued on September 3, 2026, and the online application process has also started. Eligible candidates can apply through the official PFRDA website, pfrda.org.in, until September 24, 2026.

The recruitment drive aims to fill 30 Officer Grade A vacancies across four streams - General, Research, Actuary and Official Language (Rajbhasha). The General stream has the highest number of vacancies with 25 posts, while Research and Actuary have two posts each and Rajbhasha has one post.
According to the official notification, the online application and fee payment window will remain open from September 3 to September 24, 2026. The Phase I online examination is scheduled for October 15, 2026, followed by the Phase II examination on November 20, 2026. The Phase III interview date will be communicated separately to candidates shortlisted after Phase II.

A total of 30 vacancies are available. The General stream accounts for 25 posts, followed by two posts each in Research and Actuary and one post in Official Language (Rajbhasha).
Candidates can apply for a maximum of two streams, provided they meet the educational eligibility requirements. Separate applications and applicable fees are required for each stream.
For the General stream, candidates should have a master's degree or postgraduate diploma of at least two years' duration in any discipline, or a bachelor's degree in Law or Engineering. Qualifications such as ACA/FCA, ACS/FCS, ACMA/FCMA or CFA are also accepted as specified in the notification.
For the Research stream, candidates require a relevant master's degree or postgraduate diploma in areas such as Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, Statistics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and related disciplines.
For the Actuary stream, candidates must have a graduation degree and must have passed or obtained exemption in all seven Core Principles subjects of the Institute of Actuaries of India examination.
For Official Language (Rajbhasha), candidates require prescribed master's-level qualifications in Hindi, Hindi Translation, Sanskrit, English, Economics or Commerce, depending on the eligibility route.
The maximum age limit is 30 years as on July 31, 2026. Candidates must have been born on or after August 1, 1996. Age relaxation is available to eligible SC, ST, OBC, PwBD and Ex-servicemen candidates as per the rules mentioned in the notification.
The application fee for General/Unreserved, EWS and OBC candidates is ₹1,000, inclusive of GST. SC, ST, PwBD and Ex-servicemen candidates are exempt from paying the fee. The fee is non-refundable, and candidates applying for multiple streams must pay the applicable fee for each application.
The selection process consists of three stages: Phase I Online Screening Examination, Phase II Online Examination and Phase III Interview.
Phase I consists of two papers carrying 100 marks each. Paper 1 covers English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning and General Awareness, including financial-sector questions. Paper 2 tests the specialised knowledge relevant to the candidate's stream.
Phase II also consists of two papers of 100 marks each. The final selection gives 85% weightage to Phase II marks and 15% weightage to interview marks.
Selected Officer Grade A candidates will receive a pay scale of ₹62,500-₹1,26,100 as prescribed in the notification. The present gross emoluments at the minimum of the scale are approximately ₹2.05 lakh per month, including applicable allowances and PFRDA's contribution towards NPS. Other benefits include medical expenses, leave fare concession, personal accident insurance, education allowance and other admissible benefits.
Selected candidates will also undergo a two-year probation period.

4. Click on Apply Online.
5. Select Click Here for New Registration and enter the required details.
6. Note the provisional registration number and password generated by the system.
7. Fill in the application form carefully.
8. Upload the photograph, signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration in the prescribed format.
9. Preview and verify all details before completing registration.
10. Pay the applicable application fee and submit the form.
11. Save and download the final application for future reference.
