Institute of Personnel Banking Selection (IBPS) has released the admit cards for the IBPS PO 2017 preliminary examination. Registered candidates for the upcoming exam can download their admit cards now online.

Selection Process

IBPS will select candidates on the basis of their performance in preliminary, main and interview. Both Preliminary and Main examinations are computer-based tests. Candidates who qualify in the Preliminary exam will be called for the Main examination and those who qualify the main examination will be called for interview.

Why is IBPS PO exam held?

IBPS PO exam is held for recruiting probationary officers for various banks such as the Allahabad Bank, Andhra bank, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Canara Bank, Central bank of India, Corporation Bank, UCO Bank and Union Bank of India.

Category-wise vacancy

Out of the total number of vacancies available for recruitment, maximum are in Canara Bank (1350) followed by Andhra Bank (625) and UCO Bank (530). Corporation Bank has no vacancies reserved for OBC category.

IBPS PO pre exam training for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes/ Minority Communities will begin on 23 September. Admit cards for the same can be downloaded online, as well.

• Enter registration number or roll number and password or date of birth
• Click to submit
• The admit card will be displayed on the screen

• Candidates can opt for Hindi or English language, as well
