CISCE Guidelines For Students To Appear ICSE And ISC Exams 2020

CISCE has released the new schedule for the remaining papers/ subjects for both ICSE and ISC board examinations 2020. Here are the details.

The Council For The Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has released the exam dates for remaining subjects or papers of the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) and Indian School Certificate (ISC) year 2020 examinations. The ICSE (Class 10) 2020 exams will be held between July 2 and 12. The ISC (Class 12) 2020 exams will be conducted from July 1 to 14.

Earlier, the CISCE has postponed all the board exams scheduled between March 19 and 31 due to the outbreak of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID 19) pandemic in the interest of the health and well-being of the students and the teaching community. The Board has released the new exam dates for the remaining subjects along with important instructions to be strictly followed by the candidates appearing for the examinations.

  • Candidates must reach the examination centre well ahead of time to ensure staggered movement and smooth entry to avoid overcrowding.
  • Candidates must maintain social distancing in their movement from the main school gate to the examination hall.
  • During entry to and exit from the examination hall, candidates are advised to do so in a staggered manner to maintain social distancing norms.
  • Candidates must use face mask/ cover and carry their own hand sanitizer. The use of gloves is optional.
  • Candidates are required to bring their own writing stationery/ art material and avoid sharing the same with other candidates.
  • Candidates are required to carry their admission cards to the examination hall.
  • In addition to the time indicated to candidates at 10:45 am to enable them to start writing at 11:00 am.
  • Candidates need to strictly follow all the safety instructions at the examination centre.
