The Council For The Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has postponed all the board exams scheduled between March 19 and 31 due to the Coronavirus epidemic. The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) and Indian School Certificate (ISC) exams 2020 postponed in the interest of the health and well-being of the students and the teaching community. The new examination dates will be announced in due course of time.

The CISCE has decided to reschedule the ongoing examinations for Class 10 and Class 12 being held in the country between March 19 and 31 (both dates inclusive). The ICSE exams were scheduled to end on March 30 and the ISC on March 31, 2020.

The official notice reads, "In view of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) spreading across the country and with much uncertainty and speculation in the air, the COuncil, in the interest of the health and well-being of the students and the teaching community, has decided to postpone all ICSE and ISC year 2020 Examinations scheduled to be conducted between March 19 and 31, 2020."
Earlier, CISCE Chairman had announced that the board exams will continue as per schedule. After the HRD Ministry's notice regarding CBSE board exams postponed, parents and students were concerned about the rescheduling of the ISC 2020 and ICSE 2020 examinations. The board had, however, clarified that the CISCE board exams postponed 2020.
The CBSE board exams 2020 postponed due to COVID-2019 till March 31. The NTA has also postponed JEE Main (April) 2020 exam.
