Union Human Resource Development Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has announced the CBSE board result 2020 date. As per the official sources, the CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 result will be released on July 15, 2020.
Earlier, the Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) has informed the Supreme Court that the pending papers of Class 10 and Class 12 board exams scrapped and students will be promoted based on the internal assessment. The Board has released an important notice regarding the assessment scheme.
CBSE Board Result 2020 Date
HRD Minister has revealed that the CBSE Board result 2020 date will be on July 15. He tweeted students and parents can check the CBSE assessment scheme. He also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for accepting the proposal of not holding the CBSE examination of Class 12 from July 1 to 15, 2020.
CBSE Class 10 Assessment Scheme
There will be no further examination for Class 10 and the result will be declared by CBSE based on the assessment scheme. The result will be treated as final. Follow the link for CBSE Class 10th result 2020 details
CBSE Class 12 Assessment Scheme
The Board will conduct an optional examination in the subjects whose examinations were scheduled to be conducted from July 1 to 15, 2020 as soon as conditions are conducive, as assessed and decided by the Central Government. Students can appear in these optional examinations to improve their performance, if so. However, marks obtained in the optional examination will be final. CBSE Assessment Scheme
The CBSE has shared the assessment scheme for preparing the result. Here is the assessment scheme shared by CBSE.
- For the students of both Classes 10 and Class 12 who have completed all their examinations, their results will be declared based on their performance in the examinations.
- For students who have appeared in the examinations in more than 3 subjects, the average of the marks obtained in the best three performing subjects will be awarded in the subjects whose examinations have not been conducted.
- For students who have appeared in the examinations on only 3 subjects, the average of the marks obtained in the best two performing subjects will be awarded in the subjects whose examinations have not been conducted.
- There are very few students of Class 12 mainly from Delhi, who have appeared in the examinations in only 1 or 2 subjects. Their results will be declared based on performance in the appeared subjects and performance in internal/ practical/ project assessment. These students will also be allowed to appear in the optional examinations conducted by CBSE to improve their performance, if their desire to do so. Result of these students will also be declared along with other students.
