Finally, the CBSE has announced the Class 12th result 2021. The Board has declared the CBSE 12th result 2021 for 13,04,561 candidates. A total of 12,96,318 candidates have passed the exam. The CBSE 12th result 2021 is pending for 65,184 candidates. This is because schools have submitted their marks after July 25. The pending CBSE 12th result will be declared on August 5. The overall pass percentage is 99.37%.

July 29: Big News! The CBSE has released the roll numbers for Class 12 students. Candidates can check their roll numbers on the official website with the details such as candidates name, father name, mother name and school code. The Board will display the CBSE 12th roll number. July 28: The server of the CBSE result website was down for a while today. Students and their parents expected that the CBSE Class 12th results 2021 anytime soon. Unexpectedly, the board has come up with a funny tweet saying, "Don't be a minimum parent." The CBSE meme portrayed the characters of Manoj Bajpayee and Chellam Sir asking about the CBSE 12th result 2021. The Board has replied that 'don't be a minimum parent sir, be optimistic.' However, the happiest part for students is the board mentioned "Relax Jaldi hi aayega."
July 27: The CBSE has not made any official announcement regarding the CBSE Class 12th result 2021. The sources suggest that CBSE 12th result 2021 will be declared by July 31. It is advised to students not to believe the fake notices and information circulating on social media.
July 21: The CBSE has announced that the last date for the moderation of marks for the Class 12th result. The Board said that July 22 is the previous deadline. This deadline is adding stress to teachers that lead to committing mistakes. Hence, the exam authority has decided to extend the deadline for the moderation of marks for CBSE Class 12th results till July 25.
The official statement reads, “It is requested that schools may continue to work towards compiling the result by compiling the moderation to avoid any last-minute rush.”
It also added, "Schools will therefore have to, additionally, ensure that after moderation, the number of students with overall marks in the range of 95 and above, this year, is not more than the number of students scoring such overall marks, as per the best historic performance of the last three years"
July 15: The Board has released an important notice regarding the opening of the portal for the moderation of marks of Classes 11 and 12. It has asked the schools to moderate the scores that have been uploaded.
The official notice reads, "As per the time schedule given in policy, the portal for moderation and finalization of results for Class-XII is being opened from July 16 (Afternoon) to July 22 (Mid Night). As Board has to declare the result latest by July 31, schools are requested to follow the schedule strictly and complete the moderation within schedule. If any school is left to complete the moderation within the stipulated schedule, their result will be declared separately after July 31."
It added, "Moderating marks of Class-XI and XII will be a great responsibility, which has to be done in a manner to ensure justice and fairness to students. Any differential application of policy across schools may result in either adverse impact or undue gain for some students. It should be kept in mind that the responsibility of the Result Committee is being exercised on behalf of CBSE for the entire student population and should not be seen as limited to that of a particular school."
June 16: The CBSE has submitted the Class 12 evaluation criteria and marking scheme to the Supreme Court of India. The 12-member committee constituted by the CBSE board told the apex court that the results will be prepared based on the performance in Class 10, Class 11 and Class 12 pre-board exams. Attorney General KK Venugopal has informed the top court that there may be a moderation committee to look into the difference in marking mechanism adopted by various schools to put all students as far as the awarding of final marks for class XII is concerned.
June 7: The CBSE has announced important details regarding the practical/ internal assessment marks. It has ordered the schools to conduct the Class 12 practical/ project/ internal assessments in online mode and upload marks by June 28, 2021.
June 1: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has chaired a high-profile meeting and decided to cancel the CBSE Class 12 Board Exams 2021 in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic pulsated by a second wave.
The Board has announced the Class 12 evaluation criteria and marking scheme. The CBSE will prepare the result based on the performance in Class 10 and Class 11 along with Class 12 pre-board exams. It has recommended a 30:30:40 formula - (Class 10 - 30%, Class 11 - 30% and Class 12 - 40%).
