Every year, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) releases the Class 10 results. The Board conducts the Class 10 annual examinations in between February and March. CBSE Class 10 Result 2021

The CBSE has cancelled the Class 10 board exams scheduled to begin from May 4 due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation. It has been announced that students will be promoted based on the internal assessments conducted by schools. The result was prepared based on the objective criterion developed by CBSE. It has also been announced that candidates who are not satisfied with the marks allocated will be given an opportunity to appear in an exam as and when the conditions are conducive to hold the exam.

August 3: The Board has declared Class 10th result 2021. Candidates can check the result on the official website. 

July 29: Big announcement! The CBSE has released the roll numbers for Class 10 students. Candidates can check their roll numbers with the details such as candidates name, father name, mother name and date of birth. The Board will display the roll numbers. One should use the same roll number to access the CBSE Class 10th result 2021. 

July 28: The official result website of CBSE was crashed. Many students assumed that there will be some official announcement regarding the results. Interestingly, the board has come up with a funny tweet saying, "Don't be a minimum parent." The CBSE meme portrayed the characters of Manoj Bajpayee and Chellam Sir asking about the CBSE 10th result 2021. The Board has replied that 'don't be a minimum parent sir, be optimistic.' However, the happiest part for students is the board mentioned "Relax Jaldi hi aayega."

July 27: There is no official announcement regarding the CBSE Class 10th result 2021. The Board officials have asked students not to believe the fake notices and information circulating on social media. Students are advised to keep visiting the official portal for the latest updates. 

July 20: The official spokesperson has clarified that CBSE Class 10th result 2021 will not be announced on July 20. The Board has not yet finalized the CBSE Class 10th result 2021 date. The sources suggest that the CBSE Class 10 result 2021 will be declared by July 31.

May 18: CBSE has decided to provide additional time to prepare the tabulations of Class 10 marks in view of the pandemic. It has extended the dates for submission marks to CBSE. Hence, the CBSE 10th result 2021 is likely to be announced in the third week of July. However, there is no official announcement yet regarding the CBSE 10th Class result date.

CBSE Class 10 Result 2021 Date 

The Board has revealed the CBSE Class 10th result 2021 date while releasing the guidelines of the assessment procedure. As per the official sources, the CBSE Class 10th result 2021 will be declared in the third week of July. Earlier, the Board has decided to release the CBSE Class 10 result 2021 by June 20. The Board 

The official notice reads, "CBSE accords highest priority to the safety and health of the teachers. The instructions given for tabulation of Class X marks mention that the "result Committee can make its won schedule based on the scheme provided by the CBSE."  

It also read, "Keeping in view the situation of pandemic, lockdown in sates and safety of teachers and other staff members of the affiliated schools. CBSE has decided to extend the dates." 

  • There will be no topper list for Class 10 results because marks are based on alternative assessment scheme. 
  • The Board has launched the post result Tele-Counselling Facility to benefit students. One can reach out to the facility to resolve any queries related to CBSE results 2021. 
  • The counsellors will also assist to deal with the psychological challenges and issues faced by students during this pandemic (COVID) crisis.

CBSE 10th Result 2021 Merit List 

Every year, the Board will release CBSE Class 10th merit list along with the results and marksheet. As per the sources, the board is not going to CBSE Class 10th merit list this year. This is the second time in a row, the board is not releasing the CBSE Class 10th result merit list. The Board has not released the CBSE Class 10th merit list 2020 due to board exams not being conducted completely. The CBSE has finalized the marks based on the alternative assessment criteria. In 2019, the board has released the CBSE Class 10th result merit list. A total of 97 students were in the top three positions in CBSE 10th result 2019 merit list. 

How To Check CBSE Class 10 Result 2021?

Students can check CBSE Class 10 result in any of the following ways. The most preferred and advised is CBSE 10th result 2021 through online because of featuring more details. However, one can also access Class 10th result of CBSE through SMS, IVRS, UMANG, Digilocker and School wise result file sent (email to school).

The Board has provided an option to check the Class 10th result of CBSE through SMS. One can send SMS to number 7738299899 in the following format -

3. CBSE 10th Result 2021 Through IVRS 

The Board has rolled the IVRS (Interactive Voice Response System) which provide CBSE Class 10 result through a call. Students should dial the number and add the code of the area to check the result.

4. CBSE Class 10th Board Result 2021 Through DigiLocker 

Students can access the Class 10 result through DigiLocker, which is an online service provided by the Ministry of Electronics and IT. Candidates can check the result through CBSE's own educational store 'Pernaam Manusha.' The educational documents of both Class 10 and Class 12 such as marksheet, migration certificate, qualification certificate and skills Certificate can be obtained from the lockers at https://digilocker.gov.in.

The Unified Mobile Application for New-Age Governance (UMANG) is an initiative under the Digital India program to develop a single point of access to all government services. Students can also check their CBSE results on the UMANG Mobile App which is available on Android and iOS. CBSE Class 10 Toppers 

Every year, the CBSE releases the list of Class 10 toppers along with results. The Board will not release the merit list for Class 10th due to inappropriate conditions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The CBSE has decided to promote the Class 10 students specifically North-East Delhi based on internal assessment. Last year Siddhant Pengoriya from Dehradun secured the top position in the CBSE Class 10 exam along with 12 other students. All of them have scored 499 marks out of 500.

How To Calculate CBSE Class 10 CGPA Marks?  

The CBSE will release the Class 10th result in the form of Cumulative Grade Points Average (CGPA). The CGPA is prepared based on the average of the grades obtained in all the subjects. One should note that the sixth additional subject will not be added in CGPA. Candidates should calculate their CGPA marks by adding the grade points of the five main subjects and dividing it by 5.

Students who appear for the Class 10 board annual examination should secure at least 33 marks to pass a paper. One should pass both theory and practical examinations.

Students who qualify in the CBSE board exams should collect their original marks certificate/ document from their respective schools. CBSE 10th Result 2020 Declared 

The CBSE has released the Class 10 results 2020. The Board and HRD Minister Nishank have confirmed the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10th result 2020. The CBSE 10th result 2020 was released at 12.30 PM. The overall pass percentage is 91.46%.

HRD Minister tweeted, "Dear Students, Parents, and Teachers, CBSE has announced the results of Class X and can be accessed at http://cbseresults.nic.in. We congratulate you all for making this possible. I reiterate, student's health & quality education are our priority."

Narendra Modi tweeted, "Congratulations to all my young friends who have successfully passed their Class X and XII CBSE examinations. Wishing them the very best for their future endeavours."

Modi also tweeted, "For those who aren’t happy with their CBSE Class X and XII results, I want to tell them- one exam doesn’t define who you are. Each of you is blessed with numerous talents. Live life to the fullest. Never lose hope, always look ahead. You will do wonders!"

HRD Minister has announced the CBSE Board result 2020 Class 10 date. The result will be released on July 15. As per the official sources, there will be no further examination for Class 10 and the result will be declared by CBSE based on the Class 10 assessment scheme.
