CBSE 10th Result 2020 Declared 

The CBSE has released the Class 10 results 2020. The Board and HRD Minister Nishank have confirmed the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10th result 2020. The CBSE 10th result 2020 was released at 12.30 PM. 

HRD Minister tweeted, "Dear Students, Parents, and Teachers, CBSE has announced the results of Class X and can be accessed at http://cbseresults.nic.in. We congratulate you all for making this possible. I reiterate, student's health & quality education are our priority."

Prime Minister Narendra Modi Inspires CBSE Students 

The CBSE has released the Class 10 result on July 15. The overall pass percentage is 91.46%. Prime Minister Narendra Modi through his official Twitter handle congratulated and inspires students who aren't happy with their Class 10 and Class 12 result.

Narendra Modi tweeted, "Congratulations to all my young friends who have successfully passed their Class X and XII CBSE examinations. Wishing them the very best for their future endeavours."

He also tweeted, "For those who aren’t happy with their CBSE Class X and XII results, I want to tell them- one exam doesn’t define who you are. Each of you is blessed with numerous talents. Live life to the fullest. Never lose hope, always look ahead. You will do wonders!" 

CBSE Class 10th Board Result 2020: Latest Updates  

  • The CBSE has released the Class 10 result 2020 on July 15 at 12:30 PM. 
  • The official result date was announced. There will be no surprise announcement for Class 10th results. 
  • This year, the Board has prepared the result based on the internal assessment. 
  • There will be no topper list for Class 10 results because marks are based on alternative assessment scheme. 
  • The Board has launched the post result Tele-Counselling Facility to benefit students. One can reach out to the facility to resolve any queries related to CBSE results 2020.

3. CBSE 10th Result 2020 Through IVRS 

The Board has rolled the IVRS (Interactive Voice Response System) which provide CBSE Class 10 result through a call. Students should dial the number and add the code of the area to check the result.

4. CBSE Class 10th Board Result 2020 Through DigiLocker 

Students can access the Class 10 result through DigiLocker, which is an online service provided by the Ministry of Electronics and IT. Candidates can check the result through CBSE's own educational store 'Pernaam Manusha.' The educational documents of both Class 10 and Class 12 such as marksheet, migration certificate, qualification certificate and skills Certificate can be obtained from the lockers at https://digilocker.gov.in.

5. CBSE 10th Result 2020 Through UMANG Mobile App

The Unified Mobile Application for New-Age Governance (UMANG) is an initiative under the Digital India program to develop a single point of access to all government services. Students can also check their CBSE results on the UMANG Mobile App which is available on Android and iOS. CBSE Class 10 Toppers 

Every year, the CBSE releases the list of Class 10 toppers along with results. The Board will not release the merit list for Class 10th due to inappropriate conditions caused by COVID-19 pandemic. The CBSE has decided to promote the Class 10 students specifically North-East Delhi based on internal assessment. Last year Siddhant Pengoriya from Dehradun secured the top position in the CBSE Class 10 exam along with 12 other students. All of them have scored 499 marks out of 500.

How To Calculate CBSE Class 10 CGPA Marks?  

The CBSE will release the Class 10th result in the form of Cumulative Grade Points Average (CGPA). The CGPA is prepared based on the average of the grades obtained in all the subjects. One should note that the sixth additional subject will not be added in CGPA. Candidates should calculate their CGPA marks by adding the grade points of the five main subjects and dividing it by 5.
