The CBSE has released the Class 10 results 2020. The Board and HRD Minister Nishank have confirmed the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10th result 2020. The CBSE 10th result 2020 was released at 12.30 PM.
HRD Minister tweeted, "Dear Students, Parents, and Teachers, CBSE has announced the results of Class X and can be accessed at http://cbseresults.nic.in. We congratulate you all for making this possible. I reiterate, student's health & quality education are our priority."
The CBSE has released the Class 10 result on July 15. The overall pass percentage is 91.46%. Prime Minister Narendra Modi through his official Twitter handle congratulated and inspires students who aren't happy with their Class 10 and Class 12 result.
Narendra Modi tweeted, "Congratulations to all my young friends who have successfully passed their Class X and XII CBSE examinations. Wishing them the very best for their future endeavours."
He also tweeted, "For those who aren’t happy with their CBSE Class X and XII results, I want to tell them- one exam doesn’t define who you are. Each of you is blessed with numerous talents. Live life to the fullest. Never lose hope, always look ahead. You will do wonders!"
Students can check CBSE Class 10 result in any of the following ways. The most preferred and advised is CBSE 10th result 2020 through online because of featuring more details. The Board has rolled the IVRS (Interactive Voice Response System) which provide CBSE Class 10 result through a call. Students should dial the number and add the code of the area to check the result.
Students can access the Class 10 result through DigiLocker, which is an online service provided by the Ministry of Electronics and IT. Candidates can check the result through CBSE's own educational store 'Pernaam Manusha.' Every year, the CBSE releases the list of Class 10 toppers along with results. The Board will not release the merit list for Class 10th due to inappropriate conditions caused by COVID-19 pandemic. The CBSE has decided to promote the Class 10 students specifically North-East Delhi based on internal assessment. Last year Siddhant Pengoriya from Dehradun secured the top position in the CBSE Class 10 exam along with 12 other students. All of them have scored 499 marks out of 500.
The CBSE will release the Class 10th result in the form of Cumulative Grade Points Average (CGPA). The CGPA is prepared based on the average of the grades obtained in all the subjects. One should note that the sixth additional subject will not be added in CGPA. Candidates should calculate their CGPA marks by adding the grade points of the five main subjects and dividing it by 5.

Students who appear for the Class 10 board annual examination should secure at least 33 marks to pass in a paper. One should pass in both theory and practical examination.
Students who qualify in the CBSE board exams should collect their original marks certificate/ document from their respective school. The qualified students can take admission to pursue Class 11th and Class 12th of their choice - Science, Commerce and Arts.
