Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications:
B.Sc. (Nursing) or Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) degree, with successful completion of a 6-month integrated Certificate in Community Health (CCH) as part of the curriculum starting from the academic year 2020 onwards, recognized by the Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council.
Alternatively, candidates who have completed the Certificate Course in Community Health (CCH) from IGNOU or any State Public Health or Medical University, as per the prescribed curriculum of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, are also eligible.
These qualifications are in line with the Middle-Level Health Provider (MLHP) standards set by the central government.
Age Limit (as of April 1, 2025)
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age for General Candidates: 42 years
- For Female Candidates: Upper age limit extended to 45 years
