The Nuclear Fuel Complex (NFC), Hyderabad, under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, has started the recruitment process for ITI Trade Apprentices for the 2026-27 training year. A total of 432 tentative apprentice vacancies have been announced across multiple technical and non-technical trades.

Eligible candidates can apply through the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) portal. The last date to submit applications is September 16, 2026. Selected candidates will undergo one year of apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961.

Applicants must have passed Class 10 and possess an ITI certificate in the relevant trade from a recognised institution.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old as on the closing date of application. The upper age limit varies according to the candidate's category:
Candidates should meet all eligibility conditions before submitting their applications.
Candidates who have already completed an apprenticeship or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961, in a government organisation, PSU or private organisation are not eligible.
Applicants holding a postgraduate qualification are also not eligible for this apprenticeship engagement.

Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend during their training period. Candidates selected for trades such as Fitter, Turner, Electrician, Machinist and several other technical trades will receive approximately ₹11,040 per month.
Candidates selected for Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA) and certain other trades will receive approximately ₹10,560 per month.
The apprenticeship will be for a period of one year, subject to the terms and conditions specified by NFC.
