BU opens a window of opportunity for all, to clear exams

Bangalore University is celebrating its golden jubilee year in April 2015. To celebrate it in a better way, the BU officials have come up with a new idea to allow the old students, who failed to clear the examination to appear for the re-exam.

The candidates who were not able to complete their degree course and they failed in a few subjects can now appear for the re-exam to complete their degrees.

BU to allow failed students to get degrees

As per the new plan, the students who had failed to clear 50% of the total subjects were allowed to re-appear for the examinations and degree students had to complete all the subjects within six years.

The BU, Vice-chancellor, B Thimme Gowda said that the students can utilise this option and realise their dreams of completing their degrees.

According to the university authorities, if this new plan is implemented, it is expected that lakh of old students would get benefit from this to complete their degrees. [BU lecturers don't work]
