Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has conducted the Regional Rural Banks Office Assistant (Clerk) Main Examination on October 20, 2019. Candidates who have qualified in the Preliminary appeared for the Main exam in a single shift at various centres across the country.

Many aspirants believe that the Office Assistant Main exam is moderate. The RRB Clerk Main exam held for five sections such as Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, English Language, Computer Awareness and General Awareness. Here we bring you the IBPS RRB Clerk Main exam analysis 2019.

English Language

This section was easy to moderate. A total of eight questions were asked from the Reading Comprehension and seven from Cloze Test. The other topics are error spotting, word replacement, spellings, para jumbles and fillers.

Reasoning

The reasoning level in the online Main exam was moderate. Candidates witnessed over 20 questions in the sitting arrangement and puzzles. They feel that time consumed a lot for five questions on coding and decoding.

Quantitative Aptitude

This section had a total of 40 questions for 50 marks. Most of the test-takers believe that QA rated between moderate and difficult. There were 4 sets of Data Interpretation with a total of 20 questions. Around 15 questions were asked from the miscellaneous topics such as train based, boat & stream, CI and SI, profit & loss, time and work, partnership, age, mensuration etc.

Computer Knowledge

This is a scoring section for most of the candidates. Questions were of basic knowledge about computer and its applications such as MS Office, Shortcut Key, Binary to Decimal, Operating System and MAC Address.

General Awareness

IBPS continued the trend of banking exams by giving high weightage to current affairs. Aspirants felt that the current affairs of the last four months dominated the section. There were no much questions from static awareness, government schemes, the Union Budget and the Economy Survey.
