CBSE Class 12 Dance –odissi Syllabus for 2026-27

Odissi is one of the major dance forms, that proves to be an integral part of the Indian Classical Dance Forms. The CBSE well understands the need for the Odissi Dance form that is being prescribed for the Class 12 students. The candidates, who will be opting for Odissi as their subject, need to understand the concept and syllabus in detail. The CBSE Class 12 Odissi syllabus is categorized into the following two categories:
Theory Paper- It consists of 30 Marks
Practical Paper- This paper is of 70 Marks
Both the Theory and Practical Papers combined, make 100 Marks Paper, in total.
