Applications are invited for Advances in Power

PEC University of Technology (PECUT) invites applications for its short term programme on 'Recent Advances in Power Systems' for the academic year 2014. The present scenario of power systems is advancing towards the most efficient, most economic and smart power systems. India being a developing country is encountering complex problems in power systems such as insufficient generation, system compensation, system dynamics, high T and D losses, poor power quality, system restructuring, capital loss and consumer's dissatisfaction. However, the advances in technology have given better prospective in power system, which may meet the higher degree of consumers' satisfaction with higher capital gains. Students can apply online by logging on to the official website of PECUT.
