The Pre-University Education Department has informed all the colleges offering PUC courses should update admission details of PUC students online from the next academic year.
The Director of the Department of Pre-University Education, and Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) Executive Director Sushma Godbole has directed all the colleges to upload details on KEA website.
The details uploaded on KEA website, about the students joining to PUC courses from the academic year 2015-16 would help the department during II PUC examinations and also for Common Entrance Test (CET).
The colleges that are offering admission to the I PUC course should have to check the details online. KEA will provide separate login details to ehe Principles of all the PU colleges.
After the admission procedure of these students gets completed, principals of all the PU colleges have to submit the details of each student on the KEA website.
Sushma Godbole also said this new system has been launched to maintain the database of students, which will be interlinked till they complete the PUC course.
KEA is also planning to develop a system to link this data at higher education level also.
From the next academic year, the details would help the students to fill the CET application form and in the counselling process.
