Top 15 Dental Colleges in India - 2015

The Week-Hansa Research Survey 2015 recently conducted the survey of Top Dental Colleges across India.

The survey conducted by The Week, is based on perceptual data collection, factual information and ranking methodology, has eventually come out with a list of Top 15 Dental Colleges.

There are more than 250 dental institutions in India, which produces about 15,000 to 20,000 BDS graduates each year. The curriculum for dental education in India, is spread over a period of 5 year course, which also includes 1 year of compulsory internship. The students are evaluated through oral and written examinations, the practical examinations focus on assessement of their skills in dentistry.

The admission process to most of the dental institutes in India, either government or dental are through entrance examinations that are conducted at state and national levels.
