CBSE has released a set of rules and regulations to follow while attending the NEET exam, which takes place on May 6, 2018. Explore what to wear and barred items for NEET.

The gates for the prestigious National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) will open on May 6, 2018. Hardly, ten days left for this national-level entrance exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). At this moment, we don't want to disturb your final phase of the preparations with any suggestions or last-minute tips. However, the intention of posting this article is to make you familiar with the dos and don'ts on the D-day.

 

A couple of days ago, the organising body of NEET, CBSE, released the admit cards for the exam. The test will be conducted in around 150 cities across India. CBSE has released a set of rules and regulations to follow which is available on the official information brochure. As this is not the time for you explore all this, we have decided to publish all the information you'd require before the NEET exam.

What You Should Carry To The NEET Exam

The only things that are allowed to carry into the NEET exam hall are your admit card and passport size photograph. The passport size photograph is required to attach on the attendance sheet. Your Aadhaar card is also mandatory for the verification purpose.

Barred Items In The NEET Exam

  • Any stationery item, like textual material (printed or written), bits of papers, geometry/pencil box, plastic pouch, calculator, pen, scale, writing pad, pen drives, eraser, calculator, log table, electronic pen/scanner, etc., is not allowed into the examination hall.
  • No communication device, like mobile phone, Bluetooth devices, earphones, microphones, pagers, health bands, etc., is allowed.
  • Don't bring a wallet, goggles, handbags, a belt, a cap, etc.
  • No to ornaments including ring, earrings, nose pin, chain/necklace, pendants, badge and brooches, etc.
  • Do not wear a wrist watch or bracelet.
  • No metallic and edible items are allowed, including a water bottle.
  • Above all, students have to know that there will be no arrangement for keeping any article/item.

Dress Code For The NEET Exam

  • Only half-sleeved, light clothes, which do not have big buttons, brooches/badges, flowers, etc., with a salwar/trouser are allowed for the NEET examination.
  • Students should only wear slippers/sandals with low heels and cannot wear shoes.
  • We suggest you be at the examination centre at least one hour before so that you will get enough time for any exchange if necessary.

Miscellaneous Information For The NEET Exam

  • Candidates will be provided with a pen at the exam centre for writing particulars on the text booklet and responses on the answer sheet.
  • Students are suggested to be cautious while writing the particulars because a single mistake could cost you a lot.
  • Aspirants have to do the rough work in the text booklet only.
