VP Venkaiah Naidu Addresses KIIT University Convocation

The Vice President of our country, M Venkaiah Naidu was present at the 13 the convocation ceremony of KIIT University, Bhubaneshwar. The Vice President emphasisied on how 'Google cannot be replaced by Google.' He said this while focusing on how teachers play a vital role in bringing change in the society.

Mr. Naidu addressed the ceremony and asked the students to be always grateful to their teachers and that they must always be proud of the Indian culture that they have been raised in and are part of. The Governor of Odisha, SC Jamir also attended the convocation.

The Vice President emphasized on how the young minds must always be ready to catch up new skills and accept new knowledge which is pivotal in terms of sustenance in the current world, which he said, has become competitive. Mr. Naidu gave away the degrees and the certificates to the graduating batch.

He said that the education takes place in the classrooms, the fields, at the students' homes, through the Internet and the various day to day discussions with each and every person that we come across. At the KIIT University Convocation he focused on the importance of multiple channels, formal, non-formal and informal channel, which mold the students and give them the education that they require.

The Convocation ceremony is an annual event where the graduating batch of the students are conferred with their degrees and certificates. Students who performed exceptionally in terms of academics are awarded accolades.

The Vice President in his address said that bringing in new ideas has always been the core strength of the country and that the students must also revive and take up an inclusive and welcoming view. He stated that by doing so, we can bring back the lost flow on the face of our motherland.
