School of Management, KIIT University (KSOM), Bhubaneswar was established in 1993. Its affiliated to KIIT University.

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology has grown to be one of the finest technical and management education centers in India offering Diploma, Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in Technology, Masters in Computer Application and Masters in Business Administration. A recent addition to KIIT is KIMS, which focuses on health education through its Medical College, Dental College and Nursing School offering MBBS, BDS and Nursing courses respectively.

KIIT offers its academic courses from eleven sprawling campuses spread over 25,00,000 sq. ft built up area. Continuing its tradition of providing high quality educational programmes. KIIT University is a pioneer in implementing information and communication technology in education. A coalescence of education and the latest technological know-how is achieved with the support of a unique state-of-the-art campus.

The University is also one of its kind to integrate technical education with social service. It has promoted Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) for tribal students. This fully residential school provides free education and all basic needs of the students. KISS combines traditional learning with vocational training to enable the inmates earn a respectable livelihood on completion of their studies.

It is institute of Business Administration and Training (IBAT) with a vision to make it a trend setting centre for business education, where young minds are provided the right balance of classroom learning and practical exposure to turn into successful professionals and inspiring leaders.

In several reputed B-school Rankings in India which includes Career 360 (2010), MBA Universe (2010), KSOM ranks in top 40. It is also the 4th best in eastern India according to these rankings.

C fore-HT ranks KSOM as 28th best in India among self-financing institutes. NAAC has rated KSOM in A grade.
