Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued a recruitment notification inviting applications for the post of Chemical and Non Destructive Scientist Officer. The vacancy is available in National Test House, Department of Consumer Affairs, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution
The interested candidates can now send in the applications on or before November 16, 2017.
There are 13 vacancies available for the recruitment process on permanent basis.

Candidates are requested to go through the official notification and read the information in it. The candidates are requested to make sure that they are eligible to apply for the post before they send in the application. The job location for the recruitment process is notified to be in the state of Rajasthan.
The pay scale for Scientist Officer (Chemical and Non Destructive) posts is Rs. 47,600 to Rs.1,51, 100.
The Candidates must have a Master's Degree in Chemistry or Master's Degree in Microbiology or Degree in Chemical Technology or degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized institute can apply for the post.
The candidates with Master's Degree in Physics or Degree in Electrical Engineering or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgy from a recognized University or Institute can also apply for th post.

There will be a probation, which comes under the mandatory instruction Training. It will be for 2 to 4 weeks devised and sponsored by the the National Test House in regards to the responsibilities and the duties.
