The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has published the admit cards for the Combined Defense Service (CDS) II Examination 2017.
The candidates who registered for the examination can download their admit cards from the official website. The candidates will be able to appear for the exam only if they produce their admit cards at the exam hall.
The examination for UPSC CDS II will be organized at 41 centers in the country. The examination will be conducted on November 19, 2017.
The commission has mentioned that mobile phones are prohibited at the centers. Other electronic devices like pagers, Bluetooth devices are banned as well. The commission stated that the safekeeping of these devices cannot be assured, and thus has advised the candidates to restrain from bringing them.
In the case of photographs of the applicants not being printed on the e-admit cards, UPSC has directed the candidates to bring an identity proof along with three identical photographs to the examination center.
The Commission further said, "Candidates should check their e‐Admit Card carefully and bring discrepancies, if any, to the notice of UPSC immediately."
A facilitation counter will be provided which will be available from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, over the phone. The Commission has provided the following numbers, for the candidates to call in case of any queries: 011‐23385271, 011‐23381125 and 011‐23098543. The candidates can also send a fax to 011‐23387310.
How to Download UPSC CDS II Admit Cards?
- Visit the official website of UPSC - www.upsc.gov.in
- Click on the 'Admit Cards' tab on the homepage.
- Click on the link that reads 'Click here' next to 'Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2017'
- Select one of the options from 'By Registration ID' or 'By Roll Number'
- Enter your details and submit.
- Your admit card will be displayed.
- Download the admit card
- Take a printout for future use
