The Union Public Service Commission has opened the application process for the Combined Defence Services Exam II. The selection of candidates for this service will be through a written test held on Nov 18, 2018. Around 414 vacancies have opened in the army, navy and airforce departments. How To Apply For UPSC Recruitment 2018

In order to apply for UPSC Recruitment 2018, follow these steps:

Step 1: Log on to the UPSC official website.
Step 2: The list of notifications will be displayed on the screen. Click on the link that reads, ONLINE APPLICATION FOR VARIOUS EXAMINATIONS OF UPSC.
Step 3: Against CDS II, click on the link for part I registration.
Step 4: The instructions for filling the application form will appear. Read them carefully.
Step 5: Click Yes to agree to the instructions and abide by them.
Step 6: The registration form will be displayed on the screen. Enter your details in the fields provided.
Step 7: Click Continue and follow the subsequent pages to complete the registration process.

Points To Remember During The UPSC CDS Exam II

There will be penalty for wrong answers in the examination.
Use black ballpoint pen to mark answers in the OMR sheet.
Any omission/mistake/discrepancy in encoding/filling of details in the OMR answer 2 sheet especially with regard to roll number and test booklet series code will render the answer sheet liable for rejection.
Do not carry mobile phones inside the exam hall, lest you will be deterred from taking the exam.
