UPSC CDS Exam I Online Application Form 2018 Begins

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released notification for filling up 441 posts through the Combined Defence Level Examination 2018 (I). Eligible candidates may fill up the online application form by December 4, 2017.

Number of Posts: 414 posts (IMA- 100, Indian Naval Academy-45, Air Force Academy- 32, OTA Men-225, OTA Women-12)

Educational Qualification:

For Indian Military Academy: The candidate should possess a Degree from a recognized university
For Officers Training Academy: The candidate should possess a Degree from a recognized university.
For Indian Naval Academy: The candidate should possess Degree of Engineering from a recognized university.
For Air Force Academy: The candidate should possess a Degree of a recognized university with Physics and Mathematics in 10+2 level or Bachelor of Engineering.

How to apply for UPSC CDS Exam I?

Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria may apply online through the official website of UPSC from November 8, 2017, onwards. The last for application is December 4, 2017.

Mode of Selection:

The selection process will take place through written exam and SSB Interview.

Application fee:

For UR, OBC- Rs.200/-
For SC/ST - No Fee
For Female Candidates- No Fee

The application fee can be paid through online by using net banking/debit card/credit card or through E challan.

Age limit:

For Indian Military Academy- Should be born between January 2, 1995, to January 1, 2000 (Unmarried male candidates)
For Indian Naval Academy: Should be born between January 2, 1995, to January 1, 2000 (Unmarried male candidates)
For Air Force Academy: Candidates age must be between 20-24 years as on January 1, 2019 (Unmarried male candidates)
For Officers Training Academy: Should be born between January 2, 1994, to January 1, 2000 (Unmarried male and female candidates)
