UPES Opens Admissions for B.Tech: Apply Now!

An official notification has been released by the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun inviting applications from interested, eligible candidates to apply for its Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) programme offered in 31 disciplines. The time duration of the course will be four years.

Eligibility

Educational Requirement:

Those who are interested in applying for this programme must have secured
a minimum 60 per cent marks at higher and senior secondary level (class 10 and 12) and
minimum 60 per cent aggregate in physics, chemistry and mathematics at senior secondary level (class 12).

Also if they fulfill any one of the following, they will qualify:

• Those candidates with board merit having minimum 80 per cent marks at higher and senior secondary level (class 10 and 12h) and minimum 80 per cent aggregate in physics, chemistry and mathematics at senior secondary level (class 12)
• JEE merit with minimum 60 per cent marks at higher and senior secondary level and minimum 60 per cent aggregate in physics, chemistry and mathematics at senior secondary level

Selection Process

The selection of the candidates will be based on UPES Engineering Aptitude Test (UPESEAT 2017) followed by centralised counselling through UPESEAT merit rank or through merit rank for the non-exam category.

• The last date to get an application form is May 3
• UPESEAT will be conducted on May 13
